Academy Evaluations to be Held May 30 at 12:30 PM

Dear Parents,

A brief parent meeting and player evaluations for next year’s CCSL Academy will be held Saturday, May 30 in Marble at the U10 field immediately following the last U10 game of the day.  Registration for next year’s program will open June 1.  The Academy tab above has been updated with some information for next year and more details will be added as they become available.

CCSL Academy is excited to announce the formation of a U11 team for the league’s more experienced players who are ready for the challenges of 8v8 travel soccer.  In addition to U11, the academy program will also be open to (not U7) U8, U9, & U10 players.  If you are unsure of your child’s eligibility, please refer to the following age chart.

If you plan on bringing your child to the evaluation, please follow this link to a short sign-up form.  This will enable the coaches to organize activities and plan for the afternoon.  Please have your child wear shin guards underneath their socks and bring a soccer ball and water.  The evaluation, including parent meeting should last an hour or a little more.

The number and age divisions of the teams will be determined based on player registration and skill level of the players.  All current and potential academy players must attend a skills evaluation to determine the child’s appropriate level of play.  CCSL Academy is the league’s bridge between recreation and full competitive travel soccer.  We are committed to providing an environment that maximizes your child’s learning and enjoyment of the game of soccer.

Thank You,

Roddy Alt, Academy Director
